I thrive on positive feedback, despite an inherent fear of your judgment.  That being said, sticking my neck out long enough to take the risk of getting slapped down has happened before.  This time, it seems the Burner community already liked my work well enough to encourage a small amount of neck-sticking.  “You should apply for a grant’ was their exact words I believe.  Result – funding!  Yayyyyy.
